Harper Adams Biological Society (HABS) “…is a newly established student-run society that embraces the natural world and understands its global importance. We organise casual activities as well as academically driven events centered around flora, fauna and the biological sciences. Whether you’re interested in plants or animals, native or exotic, wild or domestic, HABS will ensure there is something for you!”
HABS is a new society for students interested in life sciences and other related fields. Students of all backgrounds are more than welcome! Whether you have experience in the biological field or just a general interest in biology we would be happy to have you as a member.
We aim to provide a variety of activities to encourage further learning about animals and plants within a friendly setting. These will include regular socials, campus projects, trips, guest speakers, and inter-university competitions. There are also opportunities to make connections with external organizations, as well as meet other students with an enthusiasm for biology and the natural world. From botany to zoology and entomology, there’s something for everyone.
