Harper and Keele Farm Animal Veterinary Society (HKFAVS).
FAVS is a national group of like-minded students from around the UK and Ireland with an interest in farm animal veterinary work. FAVS provides talks, trips, practicals and information for students, bridging the gap between lectures and real life. All of our events are advertised on out instagram @hkfavs and facebook @HK Farm Animal Veterinary Society. A highlight of FAVS includes the annual congress held by different vet schools. We want to encourage anyone with an interest in farm animal work to join our society. National FAVS group have reported that each year, fewer and fewer graduates choose farm work. By supporting students interested in farm, we hope to contribute positively to the profession and agricultural industry.
