The Harper Adams Snowsport Club is for those students who will not shy away from going fast, getting boozy and engaging in full sends from the top of the slopes to the bottom of your drinks! We offer a comprehensive introduction to the snow sports, no matter your level of experience. If you have never touched snow before, or are a seasoned pro, there’s bound to be something for you!
We hope to provide an opportunity for anyone to get involved, whether it be in the alps, at the snow-dome or racing down the dry ski slope in the King’s Race League.
We hold regular events open to all members of the General membership (£25) that can be found on the SU website, including trips to the snow-dome and our massive trip to the Big Boi mountains!
If it is speedddddd that you are after then you can top up your membership and also buy the Race membership (£80) found on the SU website, to give you access to our race training and race fees into the King’s Race League.
If it’s the social life you’re after, you can always support us at competitions, join our après after our trips to the snow dome to ease those legs after an evening skiing, or send it hard at the real-life après in the Alps.
The Snowsports Club is known to many of the local watering holes of Newport who sponsor our club merchhh each year. We are working with NUCO to get some more sponsors, do some more events and make the snowsport society as good as it possibly can be!
