Harper and Keele are hosting FAVS Congress 2025 - Get excited!

What is FAVS Congress I hear you ask?

Well... it is the biggest event in the FAVS calendar to start!

The weekend is for veterinary students and involves those from across the UK and Ireland. It is a jam-packed weekend full of practicals, talks and interactive workshops on all kinds of farm veterinary topics.

On the Friday night, the external students arrive, meet their hosts (hopefully some of you have kindly offered some space in your houses), and join everyone else for a, usually, pub quiz style event.

As just mentioned, the Saturday and Sunday are filled with practicals, talks and workshops, from mainly external facilitators. 

On the Saturday evening, there is an evening event for dinner – usually black tie dinner. 

On the Sunday, in addition to talks/practicals, there is a careers fair, an AGM and a panel discussion on a hot topic.

We are still very much in the planning process of this so there are not many more details we can give you at the moment.
