Hi, I’m Gabbie and I am running for vice president 2025/2026. I study zoology with entomology and will be graduating September 2025. I have worked in the SU as Student Wellbeing Rep during 2022/2023 and 2024/2025.  I am always up for a chat and a coffee, especially if you mention sharks, lions or dinosaurs. In my free time you can find me reading or writing books, gaming, going for walks or binge-watching tv shows. My current favourites are Teen Wolf, Bob’s Burgers and Arcane.  

If I get into office I would campaign for health and wellbeing, accessibility and inclusion and sexual wellbeing. Mental health has always been something I have advocated for as I have struggled with it, so I want to create areas on campus where people can go and have some quiet time. This will also extend to SU nights and create a quiet space for people to access when they become overwhelmed. My main aim for the year is to get more people talking about subjects that are seen as taboo and break down the stigma around them, while also providing fun trips out someone to talk to if you don’t know where to go.
